Wait for the Met Review...

There! I’ve finally made my draft for my Metathione Review. However, the pictures are still on my digicam…and, unfortunately, my brother still has it.

Don’t worry. You don’t have to wait for that long. He’s on his way back from his vacay.

Anyway, did I tell that I am in band now? No! Not a rock and roll band, but in a church band (you know, just like hillsong). We’re not as big as hillsong, though. We just used to play in our Sunday service or in some invites from other churches.

The good thing about it is that, I’m one of the back singers. And here are my bandmates...

I thought I won't be able to fulfill my dream to become part of a band. I didn't know that it's going to be easy for me.

I never been to a audition, it was just a call [of God] that's why I'm here.

But yeah, I hope next time you'll see us jamming.

Globe's Fantastic Service

Damn! I couldn't log-in on facebook to using my phone internet.

I subscribed to Globe's Surf All Day plan and have successfully registered. Of course, they took 20 pesos from my phone credit for that awesome plan. After 5 minutes, they gave me a notice that their service is under maintenance...and I could no longer through my mobile (why didn't you inform me before I registered?)

I tried contacting their customer service through my friend's laptop...and, you know what? They kept on disconnecting us on their chat customer service!

Great service, indeed!

And not only that, their pop-up was blaming our internet connection! (Oh! Come on! We're not paying starbucks' wi-fi to disconnect us, okay?)

Beisdes, I was talking to our other friend from Romania while talking to their customer service, and we didn't even get disconnected.

Well, all I could say...Try fixing yourself, Globe! And get yourself a bunch of new customer service agents as well. They all suck (both chat or phone support).

Moi not doing to this to be popular...Moi is just one of your angry customers. RAWR!

Quick Post: Come on! Make me hate a Clan!

Never I joined a clan here in the Philippines ever since it has been on threads. But yesterday my friend endorsed me to a clan and I joined because I want to know how does its so called “clan-system” work.

And just as I expected, I received lots of stupid SMS. My friend didn't inform me that the clan I joined was a clan of “kiddies” who know nothing but EB's and group messaging. Right now, I nearly plan to quit because I never used to their childish activities. Nevertheless, if they will grow up as real college students to face the reality that we're not children forever, I won't leave the clan.

Anyways, I just dropped here on my blog to share that...and read and approve comments. Because, speaking of the devil, my friend has just arrived. We are going to the mall right now to eat somewhere. Miau!

But don't worry, I think he brought his laptop. I'll get back to you as soon as we found a free Wi-Fi zone.

I'm Back for the Nth Time.

I've been busy these past few weeks, I almost forgot that I'm also a blogger. Well, this ain't actually where I should focus my attention to, but my passion for writing was giving me a chuck from behind telling me to write everything I did when I was gone.

What did I do?

Well, I could say I'm always present on facebook and datecraft. But aside from that, my curiousity went all the way to the world of beauty products. Yeah, I know this ain't new to you people. Moi was just curious in Metathione. I have been guinea pig since last month. Now, my questions is: do you think it working?

Uhmmm... I haven't taken the last capsule yet; you still have to wait 5 more days.

While waiting though, I'll introduce you to my officemate Shiela. She's my partner when it comes to eating. We've been going to Salcedo Park ever since we've discovered that place.

Just to give you a background of Salcedo Park...it is located in Makati City here in the Philippines. It's open Saturday from breakfast to after lunch. There, you'll find lots of rich people selling, of course, expensive and yet fantastic food.

Back to Shiela...

Shiela and I went there not socialize with people, but to eat.

Eat what? Well check this out....

Yeah, I know it's LARGE. But despite of the calories and the cholestrol, we managed to eat it. (Thank God I don't have to worry about getting fat.)

Next time, aside from the Metathione review. I'll be posting more of our Salcedo Park bonding. See yah!

I hate summer here in the Philippines. I could not wear anything I want because of the radio-active-like heat that makes me sweat from sunrise to sunset. And the heat lasts in the evening because almost everything here is made of concrete. RAWR!

But anyway, I ain't here to talk about global warming. Neither I want to make disciples of heliolatry to worship the sun. I just made another step again to envy the people who live in the north because of fashion.

Bad Definition of Jejemon...RAWR!

My vocabulary is limited only to the things I've learned from the daily life. However, it doesn't mean that I didn't know which definitions are correct and which are wrong.

Whenever I want to learn a new word, I go to dictionary.com's word of the day. But if there are terminologies, like the gay lingo, that I could not understand, I go to Google or and to this website called Urban Dictionary.

Due to my curiousity about Jejemon (Jeje = hehe and mon = monster), I search it on the world wide web to see if I'm becoming part of it. I didn't stop searching until I get the correct term. Most of the search results are from answer wiki, forums and also from the blogs sites.

And then, I remembered Urban Dictionary with a very unpleasing definition about Jejemon. Take a look at the picture...

As you can see, he defined Jejemon as a group of trying hard “Filipino” gangsters and emo. He added the “Caution” that tells people that this group are breeding and they can be seen wrecking grammatical havoc on social networking sites.

In my point, I think this is a racist type of definition. If you are to create a dictionary, it should be friendly to all kinds of users. This one though, he tried to define “Jejemon” as if they don't belong to this world.

Well, I'm nothing against the author, but I think he became rude in this one. He just show on the definition that he's a Jejebuster – the one who's against the Jejemon.

You know what? For me there's nothing wrong about Jejemon or being one of it. Filipinos are bunch of geniuses who can invent everything from the evolving Gay Lingo to this Jejemon language.

For the author's information, Jejemon actually didn't start here in the Philippines. Try searching “leet texting or messaging”. Americans usually use it in the gaming world to prevent bots from reading their sensitive information like their passwords and user names. It just so happened that they use it in every day life just for “fun” and “entertainment”.

Just like what they say, if don't understand it then your a noob or bot, which means, you are more like computers who don't understand the logic of a human brain.

For the last say, language evolves. If you're spelling “Okay” as “OK” or short cutting the word “text” to “txt”, think about again what you've said about Jejemons or these leet texters...maybe you're already becoming part of it. :)

Good News: My Mom Doesn't have Cancer

I was reading bryanboy fashion blog about "Madonna for Louis Vuitton" when I received a text message from my brother saying...

"Kuya [Elder brother]...we're all here at the hospital. We have the key to the house."

The text mood didn't seem to have the tone of bad news, because if there's something wrong my sibs would tell me straight without any introduction or alibi. Therefore, I assumed that it's the usual text.

Before I took my wallet and all my staff, I took a screen shot first of bryanboy's blog, coz I want to post something about him which eventually I forgot what are the good things I should write about his blog... Just to give you an idea here's the SS of his blog:

Anyways, so I after I packed-up. I went straight to the hospital. There, I saw my sibs with Josh and Sheena (our friends) eating with altogether. Good thing, I was hungry that's why I joined the party...err...eating.

After eating, we talked about the hospital bills, and her current situation as per the doctor and the result of her biopsy. According to the doctor, my Mom's myoma is not cancerous. Thank God! She can now undergo the next procedure, which is to remove her uterus and one of her ovaries [hysterectomy].

My mom agreed that their going to do it tomorrow, and the doctor scheduled her operation at 8am.

Well, all I have to say again is thanks be to God! I wish my mom good luck and God bless on her operation tomorrow.

Here at the Hospital Again.

My mom got hospitalized yesterday because she has to undergo the operation called hysterectomy to remove the myoma in her uterus.

I feel a little bit worry about her, but I know she'll be okay. I prayed a lot to God last night to give her knowledge about what she has, so can be strong as she goes to the operating room later after lunch. Plus, she needs lots of blood because the myoma drains her it too much. We thought she has an irregular mensturation. And, now we know why was she getting dizzy when she didn't have high blood pressure.

Hopefully, my boss would grant me a leave tomorrow so I could say hello to my mom at the hospital. I know she'll understand my situation.

Well, I'm just here to say she needs your prayers. And, thanks a lot for those who give her support.
